The film which was remade in Hindi as Kabir Singh with Shahid Kapoor in the lead, was also a blockbuster. And then came another big announcement on his recently released film, Dear Comrade. Ace filmmaker-producer Karan Johar (even before Dear Comrade hit the screens) that his production house would be bankrolling the Hindi remake of the Telugu film. Besides all of this, Deverakonda has surprised his fans once again by announcing about his maiden production. Vijay Deverakonda took to social media on August 28 to announce the title of his debut production that will be produced under his banner, King Of The Hill. The film is titled Meeku Maathrame Cheptha and it would feature director Tharun Bhascker. Yes, that’s the twist which took everyone by surprise. The actor who has turned into a producer, made this announcement by sharing a quirky video and it is a must watch. Vijay Deverakonda mentioned, “While we were finding it painfully hard to break into the industry and make a film, I decided... The day I make it, I'll start a production house... I realize how hard it is to do this and how risky but what is life without a challenge, so with most of my savings on the line I reveal to you King Of The Hill's 1st production Title!”

On the work front, Vijay Deverakonda has signed a film with Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur. There were reports doing rounds stating that the film is titled Fighter, and it would be feature Janhvi Kapoor as his leading lady. Stay tuned for further updates from the glamorous world of entertainment!
