Vijay Deverakonda has not yet worked in Bollywood, but the actor has a huge fan base even in Hindi cinema. His film Arjun Reddy was remade in Hindi titled Kabir Singh and it was a blockbuster. Another Telugu film of his is going to be remade in Hindi, Dear Comrade. However, Karan Johar, who is producing the film, is yet to announce about the star cast. Well, there’s another reason why Vijay is in limelight again. It is reported that Janhvi Kapoor is going to be paired opposite Vijay in his upcoming film.

It was recently announced that Vijay Deverakonda has signed his next film with Charmee Kaur and Puri Jagannadh. Charmee tweeted, “"It's OFFICIAL!!! Citing Telugu Media, IBT reports that Janhvi Kapoor is been considered opposite Vijay Deverakonda in this yet-to-be-titled project. However, neither Janhvi nor the makers of the film have confirmed anything about it yet. This isn’t the first time that a rumour over Janhvi’s debut in south cinema is doing rounds. Ever since Boney Kapoor confirmed that he is bankrolling AK60 (Ajith Kumar’s 60th film), speculations are rife that the producer’s daughter Janhvi is being considered opposite Thala Ajith. Let’s wait and watch opposite which actor Janhvi will make her debut in south cinema!
