If you were not aware of this, Amitabh Bachchan is playing an important role in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, which could be the most expensive film in Telugu cinema after Baahubali series. The movie has Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi in the lead, playing the titular Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, one of Andhra Pradesh's first freedom fighters. We had seen the first teaser unveiled on the birthday of Chiranjeevi, and the visuals and background score blew our minds away. Needless to say, the teaser had become a huge hit among the fans of Telugu blockbuster cinema.
Now on the occasion of Amitabh Bachchan's 76th birthday, the makers of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy have revealed the look of the legend in the film. For the uninitiated, Amitabh Bachchan is playing Gosayi Venkanna, a wise mentor to the lead character. That explains the long white hair and beard for Amitabh Bachchan in the movie, giving him that all-knowing and benign look. Check out the reveal video below -
As per reports, Amitabh Bachchan's role in the film is that of a cameo and he has only given a three-day shoot schedule for the film.
Produced by Chiranjeevi's son and young superstar Ram Charan under his banner Konidela Productions, the movie also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Kichcha Sudeep, Tamannah Bhatia, and Jagapathi Babu. Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy will release in 2019.
