Superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming mega-budget sci-fi movie 2.0 is one of the most-anticipated films of 2018. The film has been in the news since its inception. After much delay, the sci-fi film, which is touted as the most expensive film not just in India, but across Asia, will finally hit the silver screens on November 29, 2018. Akshay Kumar, who is playing a pivotal role in the film, is on a promotional spree. The actor seems to leave no stone unturned to promote the film on the social media. He has been sharing back to back new posters of the film ever since the makers dropped the trailer online. A couple of hours ago, Akshay took to the photo-sharing app to share the video. He wrote on Instagram, "The Fifth Force is on its way in 6 days! #2Point0FromNov29 @2Point0Movie @DharmaMovies @lyca_productions #2Point0"

Rajinikanth had earlier said in a statement that Shankar's 2.0 will be a unique film. The actor further added, "You won’t find another movie like 2.0. There will be even more expensive films but content-wise 2.0 is very fresh and unique. It’ll be remembered like how Chandralekha is talked about even today."
Helmed by Shankar, 2.0 also stars Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson in pivotal roles. Rajinikanth - Akshay Kumar starrer is bankrolled by Subaskaran Allirajah, founder of Lyca Productions.
