While the call got disconnected immediately, the police rushed to the actor's residence to start with their investigation. Only when the officials complete their search, they would come to know if there was any truth to the anonymous call or was it a simply hoax like the previous ones. When police investigated the caller, the traced the call to Villupuram district in Tamil Nadu. In the last couple of months, many prominent names like Rajinikanth and Vijay received such similar calls which later turned out to be a hoax. And in both cases, the call was made by mentally unstable persons and their families had to apologise on their behalf.
