Adivi Sesh to Lose 10 Kilos for MAJOR, Produced By Superstar Mahesh Babu

Before dropping the first poster of MAJOR, Adivi Sesh teased his fans by saying he’s going to make some major announcement. While many speculated it could be about his wedding to Supriya Yarlagadda, he clarified later saying it is not about that. And then on February 27, he announced about his next project – MAJOR. This was the major announcement he was talking about, and that left all his fans enthralled. In an interview to a portal, the actor has spoken about what he’d be doing to portray the character of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan.

Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan laid down his life in the Mumbai 26/11 terror attacks. Despite suffering from injuries, he continued to fight against the terrorists till his last breath. In an interview to Deccan Chronicle Adivi Sesh revealed that he has to lose 10 kilos for MAJOR. He was quoted saying as, “I have to look extremely fit and slim. I am going to lose 10 kg in the next three months before we start shooting for Major. A strict diet plan has been worked out, and I intend to follow it faithfully. Luckily, I don’t have to avoid my mom’s food because she lives in California… I’ve to look and think like a true soldier. I don’t want to fake it.”

This project also marks the debut of superstar Mahesh Babu as a producer. It will be produced under the banner Ghattamaneni Mahesh Babu Entertainment in association with Sony Pictures Productions. MAJOR is directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka and is all set to be released in 2020.
