The Tamil flick Adithya Varma is the remake of the blockbuster film Arjun Reddy that starred Vijay Deverakonda in the lead. The Tamil version stars Dhruv Vikram, playing the titular role, and that also marks his acting debut. Banita Sandhu is paired opposite the handsome hunk in this movie. Directed by Gireesaaya (who is also making his directorial debut), this film was scheduled to hit the screens on November 8. But the latest buzz is, Adithya Varma might not hit the theatres as per the schedule. Although the team has started with the promotions of Adithya Varma, the film not hit the screens on November 8. As per a report in Sify Movies, the censor board is yet to issue a clearance and hence the makers of Adithya Varma has decided to postpone the film. However, no official announcement has been made on it yet. A source close to the development was quoted saying as, “The censor board officials are said to have given ‘A’ certificate to the film but the makers have requested UA certificate to get a wider reach in Tamil Nadu,” reports Sify. Will the change in the film’s release date affect its box collection? We’ll have to wait and watch. Adithya Varma also stars Priya Anand in a supporting role. The film’s music has been composed by Radhan. This much-anticipated film is produced by Mukesh Mehta under the banner of E4 Entertainment.
