Directed by Thambi Kannanthanam, Rajavinte Makan came out in 1986 and was scripted by Dennis Joseph. The movie also starred Ambika, Ratheesh, Suresh Gopi (years before he also attained superstardom), Adoor Bhasi and Jose Prakash.
Mohanlal and Mammootty are considered as two fo the biggest superstars to grace Malayalam cinema, both in terms of the box office, performances and popularity. And it is interesting to note here that both didn't start off their careers as heroes, but rather in a supporting capacity before promoting themselves as leading men. In fact, it took quite a few years and many movies to establish themselves as superstars. For Mammooty, we can thank Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha as that turning point. For Mohanlal, I can think nothing else than Rajavinte Makan. #L The Finale: Mohanlal Drops a Hint about Lucifer 2, and Lalettan Fans Cannot Keep Calm!
