S Shankar's latest directorial venture 2.0 has broken quite a few records and is still faring well at the Indian box office. Starring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar in the lead, the sci-fi extravaganza opened to mixed reviews from the critics on November 29. However, the film seems to have impressed the audience and hence has done well at the ticket windows since its release. On its third Monday, the Hindi version of 2.0 did witness a drop in its collection but still managed to mint decent money at the BO. In fact, according to a report in BoxOfficeIndia.com, 2.0 is the second most watched dubbed film ever in Hindi. South film industry trade analyst Ramesh Bala also announced on Twitter that 2.0 is the highest grossing film of 2018 in Tamil Nadu. He tweeted, 'At the end of the 3rd weekend, #2point0 overtakes #Sarkar to emerge 2018 's Highest Grosser in TN...'

Though 2.0 has attracted moviegoers to the cinema halls till now, things will change pretty soon as Shah Rukh Khan's big budget film Zero is slated to release this Friday, December 21.
