2.0: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to Have a Cameo in the Rajinikanth-Akshay Kumar Starrer But There's a Twist

Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0 will have another megastar and that is Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. As it was announced earlier, 2.0 is the sequel to Robot (Enthiran) which released in 2010 and starrer Ash in a pivotal role. Reports suggest that the beauty will be seen in 2.0 in a special appearance. But, there's a twist. The actress hasn't shot for any scene in particular but 2.0 will have some flashback scenes which will have her play Sana, her original character. The film has been in the making since a very long time and it was high time the makers released it. Shankar, the director of the movie, finally announced the release date of 2.0 as November 29. He was earlier quoted singing praise of his film at the trailer launch where he said, "You won’t find another movie like 2.0. There will be even more expensive films but content-wise 2.0 is very fresh and unique. However, a fringe outfit in Karnataka has now decided to protest against the Rajinikanth starrer in Begaluru. Though they haven't demanded a ban on the film, we wonder if this will affect the movie's release.
