We don't know why he does it, but he does it with some effect for sure! We are confident that the receiver of his messages must be cringing with guilt, every time they fail to respond or miss his calls. Amitabh Bachchan, known for his legendary discipline, remembers birthdays of peeps from the industry, thanks to his razor-sharp memory (or the timely reminders!). Big B ensures that he wishes every birthday boy or gal from B-town on their special day. And if the dear ones don't acknowledge (basic courtesy, guys!), Mr Bachchan makes certain that the receiver must know that he or she has not reciprocated. The classic case in point, and the most recent one at that, is Anushka Sharma's birthday.

It so happened that Anushka turned 30 yesterday. On her landmark birthday, Amitabh Bachchan wished her. On finding out that Anushka has not responded to his wishes, Big  B takes to Twitter to post this! @AnushkaSharma .. Anushka .. this is Amitabh Bachchan @Srbachchan .. wished you on May 1st via sms .. no response .. checked they said you changed number .. sent greetings again .. love and wishes .. you looked radiant at the IPL game last night 🌹🌹🌹🙏

Look how diligent is Mr Bachchan when it comes to sending greetings on special occasions. It is amply clear that Anushka failed to get texts from Big B as she had changed her contact number.  We hope Mrs Kohli is listening! And we certainly hope that she most certainly would respond to Big B's wishes on the microblogging site.

Anushka is not the first celebrity who should be feeling sorry for being reminded that she has not responded to warm wishes from the country's biggest superstar! In the past, MS Dhoni was charged with the same offence. Mr Bachchan ensured that he sends the message via Dhoni's close pal John Abraham. Johny boy apparently informed Dhoni that Big B was trying to reach him on his birthday, but he could not get through.

Even Shah Rukh Khan had failed to check birthday wishes from Big B. It was Karan Johar who reminded SRK, perhaps on Amitabh Bachchan's behalf, that he had not responded to Bachchan's texts or calls.  Bollywood waalas must take note of this! They should better be safe...err responsive than sorry!

PS: In all honesty, if we get a text from the Baadshah Of Bollywood himself, we would cherish the message, and the occasion, for a lifetime! It is beyond our belief that one can afford to miss a call or a message from the ultimate megastar ever...tch tch!
