Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan’s Simmba trailer is out! The much-anticipated Rohit Shetty movie does have a massive Singham hangover. In fact, we also get a feeling that Ajay Devgn has a crucial cameo in this movie. Sara Ali Khan looks stunning and reminds us of her step-mom Kareena Kapoor Khan from Rohit’s film Golmaal 3. In fact, despite having very little screen presence in the trailer we must say that Sara does not fail to register. The actress does have a lot of promise and hopefully will manage to stand her own even as Ranveer and Shetty do the major heavy lifting in this film.

Simmba is heavy on action and dialogue. Ranveer as the corrupt police official is the endearing hero with some major flaws. Simmba reminds us not just of Rohit Shetty’s won movies, but also other Bollywood films like Dabangg. Especially when Sonu Sood the baddie comes face-to-face with Simmba, we bet Dabangg fans will be taken back to Abhinav Kashyap’s hit movie with Salman Khan. And then there’s this dialogue of Kareena Kapoor from Karan Johar’s Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, where Poo says, “Tell me something I don’t know”. Well, Ranveer Singh gives a desi twist to this dialogue and it’s so cool. Here, take a look…

Simmba will be Sara’s second film this year. Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter will mark her debut on December 7 with Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath. The film was stuck because of issues between the producers and the director. In fact, the makers even planned sue the actress, however things got better and now finally we will get to see Sara and Sushant Singh Rajout together in Kedarnath. After a couple of weeks we will again see the actress alongside Ranveer in Simmba.

How did you like Simmba trailer? Did it give you a déjà vu feeling or were you happy to see Ranveer in the Dabangg cop avatar? Comment and tell us. Also stay tuned for more Bollywood news and updates.
