After a series of shows around social issues, relationships and humour, Ekta Kapoor branches out and explores the crime, thriller genre. The producer is all set to kick start her next web series, The Family - It's a bloody business, which is a crime drama. This one has big names in it. Vivek Oberoi, Ravi Kishan and Rithvik Dhanjani will be playing the main leads in the show. ALTBalaji has also roped in Sandeepa Dhar to play Vivek and Ravi's sister on the show. Sandeepa has been a part of a couple of Bollywood films like Heropanti and Dabangg 2. With Vivek, she will also be debuting on the digital platform.

The cast has already started shooting for the show and looks like we have a lot of good ones to be looking forward to. ALTBalaji is one platform that is exploring every genre there is and quite successfully. Not just their shows about relationships but even the others have worked really well. The Test Case, Dev DD, Romil & Jugal, Kehne Ko Humsafar Hain, Karle Tu Bhi Mohabbat are just some of the most popular shows on the platform. The producer had even roped in Arunoday Singh for another thriller named Apharan.

ALTBalaji had recently even released the trailer of Gandii Baat - Urban Stories from Rural India, which revolves around true incidents that happen in our country but aren't spoken about. The producer is churning out unique, mind-blowing content like never before. We are quite excited for The Family - It's a bloody business, too. We hope that it manages to match up to the popularity of all the other shows that the platform has launched.
