Remember when Padmaavat was called Padmavati and there was an uproar about the title of the film? Vishnu Hindu Parishad has now attacked Salman Khan and Aayush Sharma's upcoming film, Loveratri. The group is accusing Salman and the makers of hurting religious sentiments by distorting the word, Navratri, which is one of the most loved and an auspicious festivals in India. VHP has demanded to change the title of Aayush's debut film. President of the group, Alok Kumar, told PTI, "We will not allow its exhibition in cinema halls in the country. We don't want the sentiments of Hindus to be hurt. The film is set against the backdrop of Navratri, a Hindu festival, and the name distorts its meaning"

Well, we are hoping that Loveratri doesn't turn into the massive controversy that Padmaavat had become. It is a love story set in Gujarat that revolves around Navratri, which pretty much explains the title of the film. The posters of the film also had Aayush and Warina Hussain posing with dandiya sticks. Aayush and Warina will both make their debuts with this film. The makers are yet to comment on this issue and we are curious to see how they are going to handle this tricky situation.

Aayush and Warina have finished shooting a major schedule of the film, according to reports. It has been directed by Abhiraj Minawala and is slated to release on 5th October 2018, which is also around the time we celebrate Navratri. Salman is launching his brother-in-law, Aayush, in the film and has also promoted the film on his social media a couple of times. But do you think Loveratri is also going to get embroiled in controversies? Tell us what you think in the comments below and stay tuned with us for more updates on the film.
