Varun has been accused of sexual harassment and looks like the makers have decided to not go ahead with the season 2 at all. According to reports, the allegations against Varun have caused the makers to rethink about their decision of coming up with the second season of Sacred Games. When LatestLY contacted Netlfix for an official confirmation about the same, they replied saying, "At this time we are evaluating options on the path forward." Varun has categorically denied all sexual harassment claims made against him, though. The allegations levelled against him are by an anonymous person, who referred herself as his junior in Banaras Hindu University (BHU). In a screenshot of the post, that has been doing the rounds on social media, the woman said the incident happened in 2001 while they were working on a play for the annual festival.
