After several delays, Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor's anticipated action-thriller Saaho is all set to hit theatres on Friday, August 30. Helmed by Sujeeth under UV Creations and T-Series, Saaho is a multi-lingual film shot in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Prabhas' film is all set to clash with the Hollywood outing 47 Meters Down Uncaged that releases on the same day. Saaho stars Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead. It also has an ensemble cast of Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Evelyn Sharma, Chunky Pandey, Mandira Bedi, Mahesh Manjrekar and Aditya Srivastava among others.

Story

Prabhas as Ashok, a sharp police officer goes on against a gang of heavily armed thugs in the city. Shraddha Kapoor as Amritha Nair, the film's female lead accompanies him on this mission. With the city facing a huge threat with people's lives at risk, Prabhas as the protagonist risks it all. The Bahubali star is taking on the baddies played by Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Chunky Pandey and Mahesh Manjrekar in this high octane action thriller

Saaho is made on a whopping budget of Rs 350 crore. According to Zee Bussines Online, It's expected to have a pre-release business of around Rs 500 crore from satellite rights, digital streaming, music, international versions, and other revenues. Saaho's theatrical value is estimated at Rs 290 crore worldwide which means there is a win-win situation for this Prabhas, Shraddha Kapoor Film.

Saaho is slated to release in 10,000 plus screens in India beating Superstar Rajinikanth’s 2.0 record. Which means the Sujeeth's directorial will open with staggering numbers at the box-office. LatestLY predicts Saaho's opening day number to be around Rs 55 - 60 crores (All Versions) which mean there is a huge possibility of this grand action thriller to surpass Thugs of Hindostan (Rs 50 crores) and Avengers Endgame's (53 crores) opening day record. With such a huge scale release, it won't be much of an ask.
