Saaho: An Action Sequence Featuring Prabhas Cost the Makers Rs 70 Crore

Prabhas starrer Saaho is one of the most expensively made movies in India. The latest reports suggest that Rs 70 crore has been spent on a single action sequence alone. The scene was shot in Abu Dhabi and is 8 minutes in length.

Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor starrer action flick Saaho is currently on the third spot amongst India's most expensively made movies. Well, the cost of production makes sense if the makers are going to shell out Rs 70 crore of the budget on one single scene. As per the latest reports, one of the action sequences in the movie, which lasts approximately 8 minutes in runtime, cost Rs 70 crore to be made. The action stunt required cars, bikes and trucks and the scenic roads of Abu Dhabi. The reports also claim that this is the highest ever amount of money spent by a film on a single scene in India. The total budget of Saaho is estimated to be Rs 300 crore. While marvelling over the fact, let us not forget the time when Madhuri Dixit's ghaghra in Devdas cost Rs 50 lakh alone, as per reports. Devdas walked so that Saaho can run. Rumour has it that Jacqueline Fernandez will feature in a special song with Prabhas. The movie is slated to release on August 15. Saaho will clash with Batla House and Mission Mangal.
