Rape Accused Mahaakshay Chakraborty, Mithun Chakraborty's Son, To Spend His Wedding Night In Jail? Interim Bail Rejected
Following the Delhi court order, Mahaakshay and mother Yogeeta had approached the Bombay High Court to seek interim bail
Looks like Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty and Yogeeta Bali's son Mahaakshay Chakraborty aka Mimoh will have to spend his wedding night in jail. Mahaakshay was accused of raping a Delhi woman. He was all set to get married to another girl Madalas Sharma but Bombay High Court has refused to interim bail to the star kid. Apparently, now there's no relief from arrest to Yogeeta Bali and Mahaakshay.
It has been alleged that Mahaakshay cheated and raped the said woman after being in physical relation with her for around four years. He promised marriage to her and even raped her after giving her sedatives. Reports also suggest that it has been mentioned in the complaint that when she got pregnant, Mimoh gave her some medicine which led to an abortion without her consent.
Earlier this week, a district court in Rohini said that prima facie there are sufficient grounds for registration of an FIR against Mithun's son Mimoh and his wife Yogeeta Bali. After the declaration of this ruling, the star kid approached the Bombay High Court in the hope to get interim relief from arrest. But even that possibility is ruled out.
It is now reported that justice Ajey Gadkari has dismissed the pleas. On the ground of this rejection, Mimoh will not be granted any relief, reports claim. Shockingly Mimoh's to be mother in all is not apparently not perturbed by all these developments and she is standing alongside Mimoh. In fact she had stated that the wedding will take place in spite of her son's alleged involvement in rape.
“It’s happening on July 7. Mimoh met her (the complainant) in 2015 and we are aware of it. In fact, Mimoh had also filed a Non Cognisable (NC) complaint against her for creating trouble in the past. Why has she resurfaced now, just a few days before the wedding? Why did she wait for so long to take action? Everybody has a past and we know the truth,” the bride’s mother told Bombay Times.
