Ranveer Singh Is Crying After Watching Govinda Go Gaga About Him – Watch Video

Ranveer Singh is a diehard Govinda fan, but did you know that Chi Chi too reciprocates his feelings? Well, in his recent interviews the Fryday actor is gushing about Ranveer and how. No wonder when the Simmba hero spotted his idol praise him he was almost moved to tears at least virtually. Ranveer posted interviews of Govinda on his Instagram story where the Hero No. 1 is singing praises for Gully Boy. Ranveer captioned the first video and wrote, “I’m crying”. Govinda talked about how Ranveer can play a villain, lover boy and even ace comedy. He said, “Ranveer Singh is a very nice actor. He’s very sweet.”

That’s not all, while everybody thinks that Varun Dhawan is the top contender to step into Govinda’s big shoes, the actor feels that it is the Padmaavat hero who has the true potential. In another interview when Govinda was asked about who could take his place in the industry, the actor said, “Jisme bahut bhook chahiye, neeche se uppar aaye zindagi mein (Someone with hunger and drive to raise from bottom to the top).” He then added, “Ranveer Singh, he’s a very good actor. He’ll be the next superstar if he maintains the same kind of energy and hard work.” On watching this Ranveer wrote, “Promise to make you proud Sir”.

Ranveer has always confessed that he’s a huge fan of Govinda. In fact, in a recent interview RS talked at length about Chi Chi, he said, “There are a lot of people who do not know of the man’s (Govinda’s) genius. It was a real trip working with Govinda and Anil Kapoor are surreal. Just to have been slapped by Govinda! Meri life bann gayi yaar!”

Such is Ranveer’s love for his Kill Dil co-star that when in one of his interviews he was asked to name a few films that he’d watch if he had just 24 hours to live he picked, these films - Ram Lakhan, Hum, Raja Babu, Judwaa and Shola Aur Shabnam and Ajooba. Obviously Govinda would be flattered to see two if his movies feature in that list.

And it was not just Ranveer who earned praises. Govinda also talked about how he feels that the only on screen couple that can match up to veteran stars Dharmendra and Hema Malini’s presence on 70mm are Ranveer and his ladylove Deepika Padukone. And it’s not just Govinda’s movies; Ranveer also seems inspired by Chi Chi’s bold fashion choices. We just hope that these two heroes manage to create magic on screen together soon.
