Coming to the Sacred Games, the Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane’s direction that sees Rajshri give her best performance till date. As Subhadra Gaitonde, she is outspoken, innocent yet does not mind standing her ground for what she believes in. She does not fear speaking her mind in front of her husband, the man who is feared by the city. There’s a scene where Nawazuddin’s character asks her to turn around (for anal sex), and she flatly refuses to say she is not a whore and won’t indulge in any such act! And, on another occasion, Subhadra is present for her husband to make love.

Rajshri is a true director’s actor, and she explained how she had no inhibitions shedding clothes in front of the camera. She was informed about frontal nudity beforehand and director Anurag Kashyap checked with her if she felt uncomfortable, but Rajshri was fine doing it as the plot demanded it. In her interview with Zoom TV, she was quoted saying, “I felt no inhibitions, I felt very protected in the environment, and I am very comfortable in my own screen. Though I am a sari and salwar-suit person, on-screen I would like to be that fire which my director wants me to be, I would like to go through that emotion, it just comes through my art.”
