The pink elephant is in the room and you can't ignore it! Yes, we are discussing casting couch. While all actors have not experienced it, but most of them have heard about it and they have their expert take ready on the issue. So when we met Amruta Khanvilkar post Raazi success, we wanted to know her opinion on the same. Since Amruta is as popular in regional films, she has dabbled in TV with equal ease, and she is equally popular in Bollywood too, we wanted to know if she has ever dealt with the indecent proposal.

So has the 32-year-old experienced the monster called Casting Couch? "People can be stupid. But I didn't know that people can be so stupid! to this degree that they want to recount what happened 20 years back! But why cry about it now?" questions Amruta.

"I have never experienced it (The monster called Casting Couch) personally. With this face (aggression is palpable), nobody dares to. I chose my own path of hard work and honesty. I like to walk straight without any deviation. Phir jo beech mein aayega, aur nadega,  toh usko padegi, (If at all you cross my path, you will definitely get from me!)," concludes Amruta.

Amruta is receiving tremendous praise for her role in Meghna Gulzar's directorial venture, Alia Bhatt starrer, Raazi. The experience (of working with Gulzar) was fantastic, she maintains.
