The R. Kelly controversy gets another blow as Sony TV parts way with the singer. According to reports by Billboard, Robert Sylvester Kelly is no more available on the RCA Record website. The confirmation also came from the leading news companies such as The NY Times, Rolling Stone, etc. The artist's name has been dropped from its RCA roster. Various media reports have it that both RCA and Sony have denied commenting on the subject right now. "We understand RCA’s position: they have to remain transparent for the sake of the other artists that they represent and generate wealth for. They’re not in the position of dealing with the kind of stuff that has come about with R. Kelly. He has no issue with RCA. I think he’s outgrown RCA. The recent documentary on the 52-year-old R. Kelly revealing a lot of shocking details about his life where he is being portrayed as a serial sexual abuser to teenagers has caused him faced a lot of flak. According to media reports an activist group hired a plane to "fly a banner over Sony headquarters last week urging the company to cut ties with the singer."

Produced by Dream Hampton, the documentary on R Kelly called Surviving R Kelly, released earlier this year depicting the horrific acts of R Kelly has done over the years. Kelly's accusers count right from his brothers, his ex-wife and a few celebrities who worked with him including, John Legend and Tarana Burke.
