Priyanka Chopra's grace, talent and confidence is something to die for. Her strength of charterer has taken her places. Both of Priyanka's parents served as doctors in the Indian army. She had no contacts in the industry. She won the Miss India World tittle and then went on to become Miss World 2000. Priyanka credits the success to her mom since it was her idea in the first place to participate in the beauty pageant. After winning the crown she made her Bollywood debut with Abbas-Mastan's Humraaz in 2002. And since then there has been no stopping the dusky-beauty.

Priyanka went on to win India's most prominent film award, National Film Award, for her performance in the lead role in Madhur Bhandarkar's film Fashion.

She starred in some of the biggest Bollywood hits - Fashion, Kaminey, Don, Gunday, Krrish, Barfi, Mary Kom, Dil Dhadkne Do and Bajirao Mastani. Mary Kom also got international acclaim and was screened at the Toronto Film Festival 2014.

Since childhood Priyanka has an interest in music and she also went on to sing a couple of Bollywood songs. Later, she recorded with popular artists in America and started getting noticed in Hollywood. My City and Exotic's success had made her a popular name in the US.

Stepped in Hollywood

Priyanka showed the world that she is multi-talented when she signed a deal with ABC studios and was cast in a lead role in the series Quantico in 2015. She is the first Indian actress to be a leading lady in an American show. She soon became a sensation and got her next big Hollywood project Baywatch.  

Awards in Hollywood 

Chopra didn't stop there. She didn't just act in Hollywood but made sure people notice her, love and recognize her talent. She is the winner of two People's Choice Awards as well.

In 2016, the Government of India, conferred Priyanka Chopra with the Padma Shri title, the fourth highest civilian award, for her contribution to the field of art.

Other Recognitions 

Priyanka also made it to the list of the TIME magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in 2017. Apart from that she has been doing the large-hearted job of philanthropy and the UNICEF appointed her as their Goodwill Ambassador to promote gender equality and the health and education of children around the world.

One of the things that makes Priyanka the brand she is, is that she never cared about the haters, in fact, she some times gave them kickass responses. She has been a part of many controversies and criticised for things as petty as her accent, and her personal life, but she didn't care about any of it and kept moving ahead.
