We just love Priyanka Chopra. The girl has worked extremely hard to get where she is right now. Her journey from just a Bollywood actor to a global star is truly an inspiration. Of course, her millions of fans, who keep supporting her at every step have played a huge role. However, like any other celebrity, Priyanka too has quite a few haters. One of whom happens to be a journalist from a reputed US-based website for women. This person decided to spew venom against Priyanka right after she got married to Nick Jonas last year in December as she published an article calling Priyanka a "global scam artist", who has married Nick only to give a boost to her career and raise her profile.

The article, which was quite clearly written in bad taste was slammed by a lot of people on social media. As a result of which, it was deleted from the website a few hours after it was published. What's more? The website also issued an official apology for doing what they did. Priyanka Chopra And Nick Jonas Have A Romeo-Juliet Moment And Our Hearts Are Melting.

At the time all this was happening, Priyanka didn't care to respond to that article, but now she has talked about it in a recent interview with UK's Sunday Times where she has revealed that Nick and her mom were really furious after reading the classless article.  “I didn't comment on it at the time. But I went up to the hotel room to find Nick, Joe (Jonas), Sophie Turner and my mum furiously responding to the article on their phones. They were like, 'These b*******! How dare they?' I thought, 'I'm having a great moment, nothing is going to burst my bubble',” says Priyanka.

We like the way Priyanka handled it with a lot of dignity. Mutual thoughts? Let us know by tweeting to us @LatestLY.
