Bhojpuri actor Pawan Singh has grabbed the headlines for a rather bizarre and horrific reason. The star allegedly thrashed his co-star Akshara Singh in a hotel room during the shoot of the movie in Silvassa. The actor was reportedly in a drunk state when he physically abused the female lead of the film. Journalist Shashikant Singh posted the details of the incident on his Facebook timeline. According to the post, Pawan Singh beat up Akshara in a drunken state in a Silvassa's Daman Ganga Valley Resort at around 11:30 pm on Thursday.
The FB post also suggests that the Bhojpuri superstar held the actress by her hair and slammed her head against the wall. Akshara also suffered injuries on her hand as well. When the staff of the resort rushed to rescue the actress, Pawan thrashed them too. The duo was apparently shooting for the movie in Silvassa and when Akshara tried to stop a drunk Pawan from exiting the room, he beat, abused her and misbehaved with her. Akshara apparently was supposed to leave for Mumbai as she wrapped up her shoot but stayed back as there was no one to drop her.
Pawan Singh and Akshara Singh reportedly were dating each other in the past and also introduced each other as 'lovers'. The star later got married to Jyoti Singh. Meanwhile, the 32-year-old actor will be next seen in the movie 'Wanted'. The reportedly one of the costliest movies of the year is directed by Sujeet Kumar Singh. The action flick is bankrolled by Jaswant Kumar and has been presented by the Shri J Soharta Productions banner.
