Papon is at the edge of all the backlash he is getting after he was seen kissing a minor girl from the reality show ‘The Voice Kids India’. A complaint was filed against the Bollywood singer for allegedly molesting the 11- year- old contestant. However, the girl and her father issued statements saying that the singer is not at fault and that the video was misconstrued. Now, Essel head Dr Subhash Chandra has come out and clarified that the footage from the reality show, showing Papon has been removed .

In a series of tweets, Chandra said, “On incidence of Papon I have advised CMD of the Company to take stringent action not only against him but others involved. Papon is barred for ever from our group… Papon's already recorded shows have also been edited and he has been removed from the shows which will go on air today onwards.”

He further added, “Papon incident is unfortunate & must be unequivocally condemned, whatever the reason may be. I urge the authorities to take every action that they think deems fit to the law & let law take its due course… When the parents send their children for participating in reality shows, they bestow trust upon us, which we must never break. We are duty bound to treat every kid as ours and provide them safety and security.”

Meanwhile, Papon posted on twitter that he has quit the show as ‘he is in no mental to fulfil most of his professional obligations’. Well, the girl and the father have refused to lodge a complaint, supporting the ‘Kyon’ singer. We wonder, what turn the case takes further. For more updates, stay tuned.
