Singer Palak Muchhal recently filed a case against her fan for allegedly stalking and harassing her. The professor reportedly inconsistently called her and messaged her, requesting her to meet. Initially, the singer politely declined to meet. However, the messages turned abusive and violent after the rejection which led to Palak lodging the official complaint against the man. Not only this, the man even threatened her that he knows the address and would come himself near her building if she does not agree to meet.
“An FIR under Section 354 (D) (stalking) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code was registered on Wednesday by the Amboli police and the accused was arrested, " a police officer told Mumbai Mirror. Hailing from Bihar, the man had come all the way long to the city of dream just two weeks, just to meet Muchhal. He got hold of her contact number through a film directory that also has the numbers of other Bollywood celebs.
Owing to this, the police is investigating whether the man has contacted and harassed other celebs using the numbers from the same directory. After lodging complaint, he was arrested from the CSMT area.
