It is the Padmaavat Day! Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor, Ranveer Singh starrer period drama finally, finally, finally managed to hit the screens. The constant protests by the Karni Sena are still on but no one can stop a true Bollywood fanatic from risking their lives and going to the theatres to watching the film. Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus received gigantic appreciation from those who watched the special previews held on January 24th. These words of appreciation were enough for the Twitterati to march towards the screens and experience the masterpiece themselves. So, let us peep into the thoughts of the common junta on this much- awaited film- Padmaavat!
Meanwhile, the Karni Sena continues to create ruckus in the country. The Supreme Court of India had dismissed the plea to ban the movie in the states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Haryana. However, despite the verdict, these states did not allow the audience to watch the movie. While the fans are just fuming over these protests, some others are 'lucky' enough to get the chance to watch the film.
After watching #Padmaavat specially @RanveerOfficial acting and dedication I think that anyone who can justify the role of #Joker after Heath Ledger is @RanveerOfficial
Makers of #Batman @wbpictures should see his acting
Aapko mera pranam sir @RanveerOfficial

Watched #Padmaavat today. Few observations
1. Deepika Padukone is ethereal in the movie, her eyes look like a dream
2. Too much justification in the film
3. Nothing in the movie is worth a protest
4. Watching it with policemen was reassuring#ThanksPVR

Avoid watching #Padmaavat in 3D, it exposes lousy work of #VFX. 2-D may camouflage the mistakes & pathetic cinemetigarphy. You will enjoy if VFX don't bother you.

If you are cinematography lover then #Padmaavat is a must watch. You can’t even make a blink while watching the movie. @dp1stday1stshow #DP1stDay1stShow

Meanwhile, Farhan Akhtar voiced against the ongoing violent protest. He tweeted, "Attacking a school bus is not an agitation. It is terrorism. The people who did it are terrorists. Please refer to them as such." Also, actress Huma Qureshi tweeted," This is terrorism #KarniSena must be banned. Will someone take any action on this violence against innocents ?" The fate of the movie in these states is still uncertain and we wonder what will make this agitation put to rest.
