October Box Office Report: Varun Dhawan Starrer Collects Rs 20.25 Crore Over The Weekend at BO Ticket Windows!

Varun Dhawan starrer October has fetched positive reviews from the critics as indeed it has garner positive response from cinegoers. After giving us a couple of delicious slice of life  movies in the form of Vicky Donor and Piku, director Shoojit Sircar wields the megaphone to give us an intense drama with October. Standing tall at the Box Office, the movie has earned a handsome sum of Rs 20.25 crore as the weekend collection.

A source who is keeping a close watch on the monetary gains of the movie,informs that Shoojit Sircar's October has taken over the hearts of everyone with the unique love story the film has portrayed. October which stars Varun Dhawan and Banita Sandhu has earned a good box office collection of Rs. 20.25 crore thanks to the intense drama that has been missing from the silver screen for quite some time now.

After picking up on word of mouth saw an increase in footfall on Sunday earning Rs 7.74cr.  Steady growth over the weekdays is reflected with these impressive figures.

Friday       :   Rs 5.04 cr

Saturday :  Rs 7.47 cr

Sunday    :  Rs 7.74 cr

Total.        :   Rs 20.25 cr

Film trade expert Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to explain the numbers in the more collaborative way.

With these weekend numbers,October also is on its way to become a clear winner in terms of profit for its producers along with being the best reviewed film in recent times!
