Neha Dhupia finally tied the knot with her best friend, cricketer turned actor, Angad Bedi in a hush ceremony. While everyone was busy discussing Sonam Kapoor's grand wedding with Anand Ahuja, Neha too decided to tie the knot with Angad.  Neha's wedding generated tremendous curiosity and the shock value of the event was unmistakable. Even her close pals and well wishers from the Industry were surprised on hearing the news.

We look forward to celebrating and sharing this special moment with our friends and colleagues in Mumbai in the next couple of weeks. Thank you for showering us with so much love, the couple maintained in a joint statement!  Angad Bedi is the son of renowned cricketer Bishan Singh Bedi who played for India from 1966 to 1979.

He was born to Senior Bedi and Anju Inderjit Bedi on February 6, 1983, the year in which Indian cricket team lifted the World Cup for the first time. Following in his father’s footsteps, Angad played cricket up to Under-19 level for Delhi. Angad later found his calling in the glittering world of entertainment. He was last seen in Amitabh Bachchan starrer Pink only to prove that cricketers can act too!

In the past cricketers such as Sunil Gavaskar, Salil Ankola, Vinod Kambli and Ajay Jadeja tried their hand at acting, but Angad Bedi really stood out with his acting potential in Pink. The transition from the field to the big screen is not easy but Angad managed to impress us with his acting chops!
