Sanjay Gupta who revealed that his upcoming gangster drama Mumbai Saga is his most anticipated project and now he unveils the new poster of this John Abraham, Emraan Hashmi Film. Earlier, T-series head Bhushan Kumar and Kaante director had announced the film including the ensemble cast as the group of gangsters. Apart from John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi, Mumbai Saga stars Jackie Shroff, Suniel Shetty, Prateik Babbar, Gulshan Grover, Rohit Roy and Amole Gupte in major roles. The poster has the title of the film Mumbai Saga written in retro style. Even the tagline is intriguing - 'The Shocking True Story Behind Bombay Becoming Mumbai' - and it is giving us some chills for sure. Ye can't just wait to get hooked about the fascinating underworld-gangster tales about the city of dreams.The backdrop of this Sanjay Gupta film is set somewhere in between the 1980s and 1990s as revealed by the makers. According to the media reports, one of the leads will be playing a police officer while the rest are a gangster. With a release date of June 19, 2020, Mumbai Saga is a solo Bollywood outing releasing on that day. Speaking about his collaboration with Bhushan Kumar, Sanjay Gupta spoke to a leading daily, "25 years, 17 films later I had to give my audience something bigger and better. Mumbai Saga is by far my most ambitious film which needed a visionary producer. And I am grateful to Bhushan Kumar for putting his faith and might in it. It is one such story that needs to be said on screen." Mumbai Saga is jointly produced under Gupta’s banner White Feather Films and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series.
