This week there will be four movies opening in theatres. Firstly, we have Tom Holland's superhero movie, Spider-Man: Far From Home. Meezan Jaffrey and Sharmin Sehgal are making this Bollywood debut with Malaal this Friday. We also have Anupam Kher's One Day and Karanvir Bohra's Hume Tumse Pyaar Kitna coming out this week.
Although, we have four movies releasing this week, the buzz is high only for one of them. Hollywood film, Spider-Man: Far From Home, will lock horns with Bollywood films, One Day, Malaal, and, Hume Tumse Pyaar Kitna. And we need not tell you which movie has the most buzz. This week will also suffer from a crunch in the number of screens. Already Kabir Singh is going strong in many screens in the country for the past two weeks. Also, last week Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Article 15 also opened in theatres, which also is doing a decent business. So, if you are planning to watch a new film in the coming week, let us help you out by laying out your choices. Here is a list of movies opening in theatres this Friday.
Spide-Man: Far From Home
The Hollywood film is the final entry in phase three of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The movie will close a few arcs and hopefully open new ones. The Tom Holland starrer superhero movie is the sequel to the mega-blockbuster Avengers: Endgame. We will see Peter Parker/Spider-Man come to terms with the death of his mentor, Iron Man, while fighting monsters called The Elementals.
Hume Tumse Pyaar Kitna
The Darr-isque movie stars Karanvir Bohra playing the lead role. He has played an obsessive lover in his hit TV show, Saubhagyavati Bhava. The movie will feature him in a role on the same grounds, but this avatar might be deadlier. The movie was initially supposed to release on June 28, but was later postponed to July 5 because of some technical glitches the makers noticed in the preview, last minute.
Malaal
Malaal has been produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, so that is something to look forward to. The movie launches two more star kids in the industry. Sharmin Sehgal is Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s niece and Meezaan Jaffrey is the son of Bollywood actor-comedian Javed Jaffrey.
One Day
Anupam Kher and Esha Gupta star in this crime thriller. The film's plot centres on a crime branch officer investigating the disappearance of high profile personalities. The case further gets complicated and the cops are left to solve the mystery in a stipulated time.
