Manisha Rai, Bhojpuri Actress Killed in a Road Accident in Uttar Pradesh

Bhojpuri actress Manisha Rai recently met with an accident and died on the spot. The actress was travelling on a motor cycle on her way to the shooting spot for a film when a car hit the two-wheeler on which she was commuting. The 45-year-old Bhojpuri celeb was with her associate Sanjiv Mishra while this accident took place in Varanasi’s Ballia district. Superintendent of Police SP Ganguly stated that the accident took place on Basdih-Maniyar road near Chhitauni village.
“Manisha Rai, a Bhojpuri film, actor died on the spot,” SP Ganguly added. On the other hand, the driver of the car fled away from the location. The police are trying to get hold of the driver who was behind the wheels, as per the latest media reports. Manisha Rai was known for her role in Ujjwal Pandey’s short film Kohbar.
Recently, another case was observed on the Pune-Mumbai Expressway in Maharashtra where two Marathi actors – Prarthana Behere and Aniket Vishwasrao were injured in an almost-fatal car accident. The car apparently rammed on the divider when the driver took a sharp turn on the highway. The actors sustained the injures and are safe now.
