Mallika Dua Writes An Open Letter to Nishtha Jain, Says She Supports #MeToo Movement But Stands By Her Father Vinod Dua
Mallika Dua has been strongly strongly supporting the movement through her social media posts.
Filmmaker Nishtha Jain recently made sexual harassment allegations on comedian Mallika Dua's father Vinod Dua. The veteran journalist was accused of harassing the filmmaker during an interview in 1989. She also described how he stalked her and slobbered her face, in her long facebook post. Further she called out Mallika Dua saying her father joins the 'hall of shame' too. On this, Mallika, who has been voicing her opinions her #MeToo, has posted a written note. She said that she will stand by her father.
In her open letter to Nishtha she said that if at all her claims are true then it is unacceptable, traumatic and painful. However, further she slammed Nishtha for dragging her name and shaming her in the post. Mallika further added that she stands by the movement. She called this her father's battle and said that he will fight it alone and that she will stand by him. Check out the whole post here.
