Maharashtra Day 2018: Alia Bhatt Joins Aamir Khan For Paani Foundation Cause-View Pic!

Look who is up for a good cause! Alia Bhatt who is busy with her post production work on her forthcoming movie Raazi has decided to join Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan for a superb cause. We know how active is Aamir about this social cause that is going to change the way water situation is looked at in Maharashtra. And now with Alia joining him,  this has only strengthened the initiative.

According to the reports for the third edition of the aforementioned cause organised by the actor's Paani Foundation, which Aamir Khan has been an integral and very active part of had called upon college students to volunteer for the event being held on Maharashtra Day 2018.It will be pertinent to note that Mr Perfectionist is leading a team of about 1 lakh volunteers today to villages for a Mahashramdaan (the collective man work utilised for a cause in society!) Alia took to instgram to post pic about her endeavour!

And now Raazi star Alia Bhatt is set to accompany Khan for the initiative. According to a source explained to popular daily Mid-day, "Aamir was keen to get a youth icon associated with the project so that the initiative appeals to the young generation. Alia was only happy to be part of it. She will take some time off from the shoot of Kalank to join him for the day. However, Alia will return to the city by 2.30 pm to be part of promotions for her upcoming spy-drama 'Raazi'."

The idea here was to look for a youth icon, reports suggest, who could encourage the youth to partake in promoting water conservation cause across the drought-ridden state of Maharashtra. Now isn't this a wonderful cause to be a part of!
