One of the most anticipated films this year is Keerthy Suresh-Dulquer Salmaan starrer Mahanati. The period film is based on the love story of yesteryear actress Mahanati Savitri and Superstar Gemini Ganeshan (Rekha's father). The teaser of this much awaited love saga won the hearts of the fans making them demand more of it. To the thrill of fans, two new stills from the film have surfaced on social media and fans are going crazy about them. In one of the stills, we can see a stylish avatar of Keerthy as Mahanati. The second still is all about the chemistry between Dulquer and Keerthy.

The movie also has a plethora of known stars in prime characters, other than Keerthy and Dulquer. Samantha Akkineni plays Jamuna, while her husband Naga Chaitanya plays his own grandfather, the late Akkineni Nageswara Rao. Meanwhile, Baahubali 2 star Anushka Shetty plays Bhanumathi and Vijay Deverakonda is playing the '80s star Vijay Antony. The movie also has Prakash Raj and Shalini Pandey in crucial roles.
