Lilly Singh released a music video where she remixed popular Bollywood songs into their rap versions. Hilarious. And uplifting. The video also got a thumbs up from Bollywood celebs like Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor. But let us keep aside the obvious awesomeness of the now viral video and talk about that one moment that is making the LGBT community crush hard on 'your girl Superwoman'. At one point in the music video, Lilly finds herself in a dilemma. She can't pick between who to hit on - most popular male model on Instagram, Nick Bateman, or the female fitness model, Natalie Eva Marie.
This would be the first time when Lilly Singh has actually addressed her sexual orientation in her video so openly. The YouTube sensation had come out as bisexual in February, earlier this year, sending the internet into a meltdown. Who do you think Lilly should have hit on in the video? Nick? Natalie?
Lilly posted a very humbling tweet afterwards on her handle. She said, "Thank you to Natalie Eva Marie and Nick Bateman for letting me hit on them even though they’re both out of my league," Gurl, you have got to be kidding us! If there is one person in the music video that is out of everyone's league, it is Lilly Singh. 'Superwoman' Lilly Singh, Becomes First Indian-origin Woman to Host US Late Night Show.
Thank you to @natalieevamarie and @itsNickBateman for letting me hit on them even though they’re both out of my league 🙄❤️

The video is not all about expressing bisexuality. It is so much more than that. Talking about the video, Lilly Singh wrote on her Instagram, " I was told exposing your body too much isn’t good, fair skin is the goal, having a tummy isn’t beautiful and subconsciously that other people could/would and should make judgments about you. I believed all of this for some time in my life because I didn’t know another way. As I’ve grown up, I’ve proactively made an effort to unlearn a lot of these things and this song represents that growth in a nutshell,"
Well, at the time of writing this article, the said video had become unavailable on YouTube due to a copyright strike by Tips. The message on the video reads, "This video contains content from TipsMusic, who has blocked it on copyright grounds." We hope the video comes back online, soon!
