Minho’s character Heo Joon-jae in this show is a scam artist and a highly skilled one at that, and boy! does he play it so well. In this magical story, Lee brings a little bit of his own magic with childlike playfulness and a serious persona that make this drama wonderful to watch.
Boys Over Flowers
Boys Over Flowers captured the interest of many with its brilliant cast. Lee’s character though may come off arrogant at first, seeming only obsessed with money, turns out to have a heart of gold and does everything he can to protect the one he cares about. Lee’s Gu Jun Pyo may take some time to warm up to you but will definitely make his way into your heart as he’s one to be remembered.
City Hunter
This series shows a more serious side of one of the many personas Minho has played. Based on a Japanese manga of the same name, Lee plays Yoon-sung whose only goal is to avenge his father who was murdered by five killers. He takes on a double role in City Hunter. One of a son who wants justice for his father and another identity of a teenager so as to go unnoticed when he gets revenge, and his determination makes him all the more exciting to watch.
The King: Eternal Monarch
Lee Gon played by Minho is composite character that takes some time to understand at first, and this is a role played beautifully by the actor that takes its time to be carved into your mind. And Lee succeeds in making you feel for Gon after the tragedies he goes through while also maintaining the mystery woven into the story and character.
