The celebrations are about to get tenfold as the Korean boy band's eldest member, Jin, is returning from his mandatory military service on June 12. Amidst the brewing anticipation, the latest reports suggest that all the other members of BTS who are currently enlisted in the military will reunite for Jin's discharge. BTS Members To Reunite on Jin’s Military Discharge Day
On Monday, June 10, a report published by Dispatch revealed that all six members of the boy band applied for leave on June 12 to celebrate Hyung's military discharge. They will be taking a break from their military duties and gather to celebrate Jin's return. The reports further suggested that BTS members initially planned to reunite in front of Jin's unit to welcome him back. However, the celebrations will now take place somewhere else. This will also mark the group's first reunion since Jungkook and Jimin's enlistment in December 2023.

On June 2, BTS' agency, Big Hit Music, announced that their eldest member, Jin, would return for BTS FESTA 2024 and celebrate the day with fans, marking the group's 11th debut anniversary. They also revealed an "in-person event led by BTS member Jin" will be held on Thursday, June 13 at Jamsil Arena in Jamsil Sports Complex, Songpa-gu in Seoul. They shared, "This event was prepared to fulfil Jin's wish to spend meaningful time with ARMY in person on BTS' debut day.
