BTS leader Kim Namjoon aka RM's father worked in SK Energy. It is one of the biggest power conglomerates in the country. He revealed this on the Psick Show to Mukgo. The host's father was also in a top position in the company. Namjoon's dad wanted his son to major in chemical engineering so that he could join the oil and gas industry. His dad is also a chemical engineer. He felt the petroleum industry is lucrative, and RM aka Kim Namjoon could have a good future.
