A lot is being speculated about Ekta Kapoor’s new series which is Kasautii Zindagii Kay reboot. The new version of this popular television soap opera will be soon out in the form of web series. While Erica Fernandez and Barun Sobti are said to be the new Prerna and Anurag, a lot was speculated about the evil, popular character ‘Komolika’ played by Urvashi Dholakia. The vamp from the serial was popular because of her OTT get up and the background music. However, the new Komolika will be nothing like the old one, promises Ekta Kapoor! The rumors also have it that it might be Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress Hina Khan who will be the new Komolika.
A source told Bombay Times,“Talks have reached an advanced stage and the makers are keen on roping in Hina for the part. She is expected to sign on the dotted line soon.," Hina was the first runner up of Bigg Boss 11 and was quite popular for her fashion sense. If she becomes the new Komolika, it will be a treat for fans.
In a series of tweets, Ekta said, “So much speculation on who is komolika ! Just that she will b totally diff than d earlier one ! Smarter less OTT as fierce just less obvious !” “So d actor will have to look v innocent ! Child like face n unbelievably sharp hoping to give this antagonist a complete reboot!,” she added.
