Sara Ali Khan had (jokingly?) told Karan Johar to set her up with Kartik Aaryan when she appeared on his celebrity show, Koffee With Karan in the last season. Well, we don't know if Karan was involved in this, but Sara and Kartik are the new couple in B-town. The two seem to be madly in love with each other. Just a few days back, we saw Sara pick Kartik at the airport. Now it's Kartik, who did something sweet for his rumoured lady love recently, and that has a connection with Katrina Kaif.

Before you get your thoughts running helter-skelter, let us tell you what exactly happened. According to Mumbai Mirror, Kartik was supposed to make an appearance at a grand wedding in Bali along with Katrina, however, he decided to cancel that and failed to live up to his commitment at the last minute. The report also suggested how Kartik decided to stay back in India so that he could honour his date with Sara. We all know that the two will also be seen together in Imtiaz Ali's Love Aaj Kal 2, the sequel of Love Aaj Kal, that starred Sara's father Saif Ali Khan along with Deepika Padukone. At a recent event, Sara couldn’t hide her excitement at working with Kartik as she said, “It was a blast! It was amazing and fun, everyday on the set was fun... there were moments where I didn’t realize I am working. I can’t believe I am being paid for sitting behind Kartik Aaryan on the bike, any girl would die to do that.” Meanwhile, Kartik also had to say a few things about Sara in an interview with Bombay Times. “Sara is a star and a person with a heart of gold. I thoroughly enjoyed working with her. she has a certain positive that she brings to the screen and I would love to work with her again and again,” he was quoted.
