And here it is finally! Veere Di Wedding gets an 'A' certificate by the Censor Board. Not that we are surprised by this news at all. Ever since we saw the Veere Di Wedding trailer, it was pretty evident that the film will get an 'A' certificate. The best part is that the film has been given clearance without any cuts. Though the producers of the film, Rhea Kapoor, Ekta, Anil and Jeetendra had a heated argument with the censor board committee about the profanity in the trailer and the film. All the ladies in the movie have used cuss words which led us to wonder how the board is going to react to it.

A source told Masala.com, "Both Jeetendra and Anil Kapoor argued heatedly in favour of the  colourful language spoken in Veere Di Wedding. They are convinced that today’s youngsters speak that foul lurid leery language. Some panel members objected. But finally the board members agreed  to let  the  language remain intact  and gave  the  film an ‘A’ certificate." The portal also added that several members of CBFC were totally against women using cuss words in the movie. One of the women from the board also used the word 'drunk fisherwomen' to describe the language used in the movie.

The makers just released the title track of Veere Di Wedding today and we quite love the song. They had released another dance number from the film, Bhangra Ta Sajda also a couple of days back and we are in love with that number. The film is all set to release on 1st June 2018. In fact, it will be clashing with Sonam's brother, Harshvardhan Kapoor's Bhavesh Joshi Superhero. What are your thoughts on Veere getting an 'A' certificate?
