Karan Johar Accused Of Promoting Extra Marital Affairs: KJo Gives a Befitting Reply!
Kjo uses a rather sharp and realistic response to close the debate!
Karan Johar is not new to trolling! The stylish filmmaker gets trolled for almost every topic under the sun; the mainstays being his affinity towards promoting nepotism, his sexual orientation and his dramatic style sense. While we are aware of the fact that you can love KJO, you can hate him but you certainly can't ignore him. And that holds true even to Karan Johar's presence on social media.
So when yesterday Karan Johar's popular film Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna completed 12 years, Karan was ecstatic about it, and he even had some nice memories to share with the cast of KANK including Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji, Preity Zinta and Abhishek Bachchan. These stars too reciprocated by taking to their social media handles.
But what made the matters a little bit ugly was when a Twitterati questioned Karan and even blamed him for promoting extramarital affairs with his movie. It goes without saying that in his KJo's film Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji's characters fall in love with each other and go on to cheat on their respective spouses. But this fact was stated with an oblique reference by this unsavoury tweet.
Karan being his usual hilarious and quirky self, had this to say: Hello uninformed person! You cannot promote something that is already a big hit! KJo was obviously referring to the fact that extramarital affairs, quite unfortunately, are so commonplace in the times we live in. Looks like KJo knows how to employ his words to come up with a comeback as sharp as this one!
