Huma Qureshi and Rajinikanth are generating curiosity amongst the fans through their stills on the posters of 'Kaala'. The gangster drama has Huma play a role of a 45-year-old lady named as Zareena. The fans are gauging the relationship between her character and that of Rajinikanth's. In the new still shared by the actress, we can see both the stars sharing a hearty conversation with each other with a smile plastered on their faces.

Earlier, talking to PTI, the Badlapur actress told PTI, "He is truly inspiring and an amazing human being. The whole shooting was a learning process for me, each and every person on the set was warm and appreciative." She further added, "I am grateful to him for giving me such a beautiful yet complex and strong character- Zareena. I am honoured to play this part."

Kaala is majorly set in Mumbai and also stars Nana Patekar, Huma Qureshi, Eswari Rao and Samuthirakani in crucial roles.  The film reportedly revolves around the life of oppressed Tamil people of Mumbai and Rajinikanth plays a feared don. Director Pa Ranjith collaborates for the second time with the Thalaiva after 'Kabali'. The ambitious film will have the songs composed by Santosh Narayanan. It is produced by Rajinikanth's actor son-in-law, Dhanush. The flick is all set to release in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi on June 7.
