Kaala Box Office Collection Report: Rajinikanth's Film Becomes Highest Grosser in Malaysia!
Kaala mints money at the Box Office thanks to Rajinikath's popularity!
While naysayers keep claiming that Rajinikanth's recent release Kaala should not be compared with the superstar's previous outing Kabali, the film continues to set new records at the ticket windows. It is pertinent to note that the film has not been big on promotions and marketing and yet it has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark so swiftly. Rajini sarr continues to stand tall at the Indian Box Office as well as abroad.
We have already informed you that the film is a huge success in unexpected territories such as Australia and Canada. And now it is learnt that Kaala is doing equally well in Malaysia. The film, directed by Pa Ranjith, has Rajinikanth playing the role of a slum lord named Karikalan. Eswari Rao essays the role of his wife and Huma Qureshi plays Karikalan's ex-fiancee in the film. Blame it on the star cast or Rajini Sarr's popularity in South East Asia, Kaala is doing extremely well in Malaysia.
According to trade reports Kaala has stands at the second position in terms of opening weekend collections in Malaysia. According to India Today reports The film has collected Rs 7.61 crore so far in Malaysia. However, Kaala couldn't beat the box office collections of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom in Malaysia.
In addition to that, Kaala is minting profits in the US as well. Recently, the film registered a record USD 1 million (Rs 6.7 crore approx) and is expected to gross USD 2 million(Rs 13.5 crore approx) in the coming days.
