Karan Johar was one of the first people to see Vijay Devarakonda's upcoming film, Dear Comrade, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Shruti Ramachandran. So impressed was he that he immediately brought the rights of the movie to remake it in Hindi. The filmmaker shared a picture with Vijay and highly appreciated with the film in the caption. In the same post, he also announced that Dharma Production will be producing the remake of Dear Comrade.

Now, as per a Times Of India report, the Hindi remake of Dear Comrade might bring together, Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter on the screen yet again. If this is true, this is the second time that we will see Janhvi and Ishaan in a film after Dhadak, which was the Hindi remake of Marathi blockbuster, Sairat and Janhvi's debut film. Interestingly, Ishaan's half-brother, Shahid Kapoor recently stepped into the shoes of Deverakonda with Kabir Singh, the Hindi version of latter's Telugu blockbuster, Arjun Reddy.

While Shahid gave a top-notch performance in the film, we can't wait to see what Ishaan will bring to the table, if these reports are true that is. Well, there has been no official announcement on the cast of the Hindi remake of Dear Comrade. So all we can do is just wait and watch.
