One question that always piqued fans when it comes to Salman Khan is when the actor is getting married. Sadly, that's one question that may never get an answer. The actor, who has crossed 50 a couple of years back, is in no mood to shed his single status, even though the media kept on linking him with his rumoured Romanian girlfriend Iulia Vantur, as well as his exes Sangeeta Bijlani and Katrina Kaif. Recently, Salman Khan created a stir when he announced on Twitter, 'Mujhe ladki mil gayi (I got a girl). Later, we found out that it was his whimsical way of announcing the new girl who he is launching opposite brother-in-law Aayush Sharma in Loveratri.

And now with Iulia Vantur's recent statement on her marriage plans, more hearts of Salman Khan fans are going to break. In a recent interview to Spotboye.com, Iulia revealed that she has no plans to settle down any time soon and she considers Salman as a good friend. She had said, "I don't know when that (marriage) will happen. Honestly, I am not in a hurry. I have said it before also; I don't think marriage is necessary, when two people are in love. When two people are really bonding well and they are building something (together) because relationship is not just about a paper. It's about what you build in time. It's not about that piece of paper. That doesn't give you anything. The only guarantee is the commitment that you do."

She also wants to be know more for her work rather than being someone's (rumoured) girlfriend. "As a person who has built her career back in Romania and who was known only for her work (she was a TV presenter), it not really bothers me, but I would have preferred to be recognised as a individuality (an individual), as a person who has own history, background and solid career, you know," she admits.

However, she is quite grateful to 'good friend' Salman Khan for launching her music career and giving her a good platform here. She said, "I had never planned to come to India to work. There was no ambition, no fool-proof plan. Salman is a good friend and he guided me, encouraging me to sing. I never thought that I would be able to sing in Hindi but he supported me. I started singing because of him. I had no plans to be a part of Bollywood but I also like surprises at the same time."

Maybe this is the time for us to stop dreaming that Salman will ever have shehnais being played for himself.
