Television actress Charu Asopa, who is popularly known as Preeti of Mere Angne Mein, is reportedly dating Bollywood actress Sushmita Sens's brother Rajeev Sen. Yes, you read that right! In a statement to a leading daily, a source had revealed, "Yes, Charu and Rajeev are dating each other. Their relationship is very tender at this stage. Both of them are not ready to talk about their relationship in public as of now and are taking things slowly. They are really fond of each other. The two bumped at a party and got along like a house on fire." Also, Rajeev and Charu's social media accounts, that are filled with their PDAs, had led to speculation regarding their relationship. Recently, Rajeev took to the photo-sharing app to share a picture with Charu and captioned it as, "Love birds ❤️ @asopacharu 😘" while Charu reposted it on her Insta page. Soon as the pic was out on social media, the post was flooded with wishes from friends and fans. Reportedly, Rajeev and Charu first met at a party and have been dating each other ever since.
Confirming the news, a close friend of Asopa, in a statement to indianexpress.com, said, "It’s a new romance brewing between them. It has only been a couple of months that they have started dating. Charu and Rajeev met at a party and hit it off instantly. They started going out and soon it turned into dates. We are really happy for her as they make a beautiful couple together."

For the uninitiated, Charu was earlier engaged to TV actor Neeraj Malviya, however, the couple called off their relationship owing to personal differences. Talking about the same, Malviya had told Tellychakkar.com, "Yes, sometimes 2 people are meant to be not more than great friends. In my case, a majority of problems have been created because of the rumours. There were no tiffs of sorts between us regarding money or anything.
