Irrfan Khan Is Recovering and Might Return to Films in 2019 – Details Inside
Good news for Irrfan Khan fans! The actor was admitted to a London hospital after being diagnosed with nuero endocrine cancer may return to the movies some time next year. More details inside...
Early this year Irrfan Khan revealed on social media that he was diagnosed with nuero endocrine cancer. The actor has just begun work on Vishal Bhardwaj’s film in which he was to collaborate with his Piku co-star. Unfortunately after reporting sick to the sets, the filming of Bhardwaj movie was postponed. It was a couple of weeks later that Irrfan suggested that matters were more serious than what was reported at the time. It was earlier said that Irrfan had to excuse himself from work because he was suffering from jaundice. Khan confirmed about his health condition on Twitter and his work schedule went off track. For long now there have been updates about Irrfan’s health. The actor himself has commented about life after being attacked by the big C. But looks like fans can finally heave a sigh of relief, because if the latest buzz is anything to go by then the actor will be back in action soon.
Irrfan Khan we hear has begun listening to scripts and even has green lit some of them. His film with Vishal and Deepika is still in the backburner, but the actor is ready to return with Hindi Medium 2. That’s not all, Shoojit Sircar’s biopic on Udham Singh where Irrfan will be again working on a biopic, this time that of a freedom fighter. With Deepika out of Sapna Didi biopic the film may need some reshuffling at the moment. The actor also lost out on a digital project Gormint that he had already started prep for because of his health concerns.
Even as the actor was undergoing treatment in London he had two releases this year – Blackmail and Karwaan. Looks like with his health getting better Irrfan Khan wants to waste no time and jump straight on to his film sets. And this indeed is one of the best news that we’ve heard in recent times.
